I am so glad to hear that Ozzie is getting more laid back! It is probably due to growing up, the neutering and your training all rolled into one.

Pepper is looking good. Been a while since I've seen him. I love the "bird's eye view" picture.

Well Ozzie is a brown color and Pepper is Grey....
Thanks to all and I think Ozzie is just what you said Diane....getting older and
the neutering.....he still gets ornery but he is only 11 months old. Terry calls him "fat cat" lol
You know ..... he still will not let me just reach out and pet him...he actually stands on his hind legs and wants to box:34: I need to try to get that on the camera because he raises up and he is big ..............11.5 pounds:rolleyes:
But the funny thing is at night (he does not get shut up at night anymore he has learned not to play with Terry's feet lol) anyway at night after I go to bed he jumps up and lays by my head and as long as I pet him he will lay there and purr.....very loudly :31: and when I get tired of petting he will go lay against my legs all night but he does stay on top of the covers! He doesn't get up until I do then it is back to "wanna fight? Come on...Come on"
and I can not pet him the rest of the day UNLESS he jumps on my lap and lays down.
Also I want to thank everyone who urged me to keep him and talked to me in PM's etc... when things were rough going....and we all know where Special's heart was......Ozzie owes her BIG TIME:yup:

I thought the *birds eye view* caught a look that we rarely see and that is the curiousity nature of African Greys.....they have really good eyes and ears and use them all the time. Today Terry took his cage to the car wash for me for a good scrubbing and I had him in his portable tote on the table. He whistled and hollered his hiiiiiii-looooo a little but nothing much else. When Terry came back and we got the cage in he sat down in a chair beside Pepper and just out of the blue Pepper says....."don't know what's going on" and that was it hahahahahahaha I could not get him to say another word but he was happy to be back in his own domain and made sure I put everything back the way it was including his ummm *girlfriend* which consists of a hanging toy with different colored wooden balls about the size of a small egg and a bell at the bottom... You know spring fever is going on here in Mo. now and the birds are geared up and ready to go BUT no place to go lol so they use their imagination. Oh and yes.....it is molting season too ~sigh~

I have found myself calling Ozzie "Frankie" :(because it is awesome how much they feature each other besides the size of course..... But Ozzie does not care as long as he is fed and gets his own way:p

I absolutely love that shot of Pepper. One is a million. And yes, I can see the Grey attitude of investigation in it. Great catch!
