Here are a few pictures of the farm for you to have a nosey at. Sorry if they're boring! :) There are quite a few of our different breeds of chickens....dad incubates them in our own incubator then releases them onto our land where they roam day and night as content as can be, they only really come back home to roost at night.

This is Mamma Hen. She's currently cuddling about 7 or 8 chicks but I didn't want to upset her by making her get up, the girl has bedded down for the night. :)

This is some of our outhouses and the wooden gate is the entrance to insanity (the farm)

This is one of our fields - this is basically where the dogs stretch their legs first thing in the morning. When the sheep are grazing its like one big party.

This is a group of Shamo's that have come in for the night - they're a few months old. In Japan they're used as fighting fowl. :angryfire: We have them because they're a fairly rare breed and we're doing our bit for the line.

These guys are more Shamo and some Taiwan's also that have come in for the night. The wee lad on the far left is known as pit game - cute to boot. :)

And part 2!

This is a Belgian De'watermeal - we're currently raising some babies of his. He's the cockiest little rooster I ever seen, definitely "small man" syndrome at work. ;)

Some of the "gang" wandering around.

That's it for today! Again Emily, apologies if they're boring but you did ask! :o

Yep, its an amazing spot (in my opinion). You'd think after 27 years I'd be complacent about it now but the shine never leaves.

Hey, no way! ;) During the week I get a dive in Belfast to stay in (its not that bad really ;) ). I already work 40 hours in 4 days so that I can finish for the week on a Thursday night and drive home for a long weekend, every weekend. So, can we swap? Nope! Can you and yours visit? Yep! :)

That's a beautiful piece of property. I don't know much about chickens and such, but you have some pretty birds.
