We Took A Nap together! Ape noticed we both fell asleep and took pictures... and then made sure she was back in her bed safe :D

This was actually a week ago. Her eyes weren't open yet. But she was growing. She's gotten so much bigger since then

And FINALLY, an open eye shot! She was crawling over Fred. He is still scared of her but has learned to kind of let her do her thing. Sometimes he smells her and licks her. Sorry its blurry but she doesn't hold her head straight yet! lol

She's so pretty.
Its hard to think that one day she wont fit in your hands anymore. They grow up too fast!

I know! Here I am, wanting her to be 4 months old so we can take her out and not worry so much about puppy diseases since she'll have her shots and we'll be able to play around with her and not have to disinfect our bodies before walking in the door (seriously its like my apartment is a freakin hospital. We keep disinfectant by the door and spray our shoes before walking in and we don't do a think until we wash our hands with antibacterial soap)
and yet, I know when she gets there i'll wish for the days when she was small enough to just curl up and sleep. lol. I adore her!

LOL If only I had known it was as easy as that to get photos out of you!! Thanks chick! :-) I love when they get a little older, about 2 months and start to develop that wee collie puppy attitude. :-)

Hey now Irish, I sent you my collage!
Yea. She already sort of is developing it. Like she LOVES to nuzzle and burrow. She's been doing that since she was born but now its more apparent. All I have to do is put something over her face and she falls right to sleep. and she's learning she can't get out of her box unless the door is open and she's starting to WANT to. Before she didn't care... but now when she hears us come in she is sitting waiting at the cage door trying to push it open.
Tomorrow we're bringing everyone (sans layla lol) to an agility contest that was started by one of Keepers first litters owner. And Laylas dad is going to be there too!!!! We're excited. It's gonna be a big ole family reunion

Minus Layla, bless her. She'll have to wait for another day. :-) Let me know how it all goes, I'm sure Keeper will be in her element!

SOooo cute! Yeah I agree that pups grow too fast. We got our love bug Elvis on the 7th of this month, and he already seems longer, and a big bigger over all.

Did I totally forget to tell you? MAN. This is actually going to be our third herding outting. The first one wasn't bad. We just think the place we went doesn't give enough individual attention. The dog is only in the pen for 10 minutes at a time, twice a class... and you have to pay for them all in advance so if you miss a week you're kinda screwed.
This new place is not only cheaper but you get one designated instructor to work with you, you work for 30-60 minutes depending on the dogs interest (if they want to stop the dog while its still intriqued so it doesn't desheep or something?).
SO anyway the first place said she was pretty good. The second time though she was better than some dogs that were going for a while! She keeps her circles wide and only went straight for them twice! So I GUESS that is good? Ya?

She's certainly heading in the right direction! :-) Myself and Lynn have been doing a lot of work together recently now the evenings are still light when I get in from work. She's super interested in the sheep and would cap them all day and all night if I let her. She's learned a few of the basic commands. Her outrun is fantastic. Outrun is where she leaves my feet and goes around the side of the field until she finds herself directly behind the sheep. :-)

Yea! Keep isn't THERE THERE yet but she definitely is running clockwise and coutnerclockwise.
We aren't at the command part yet. I think because the last time was her FIRST time with the new people they just wanted to see what she would do. Sunday will be the first official day of training :)

I bet - I used to have a collie when I was younger. I was able to get him to herd the chickens like the sheep. Saved me having to do it at night! :-)

Plus the lass has definitely had big changes in her life since the first session. ;-)
