Apparently so!! I've read studies on dogs' accents!
They studied certains breeds from all over the country, and found that there were differences in tone and pitch. Stronger accents are easier for dogs to pick up, allegedly. But you get posh sounding dogs too!

Well isn't that just something! Haha now i wonder if anyone has ever studied doggy accents in Canada. I know people from the south like me speak differently than people from the north or Ontario. Hmm... Something to look into!
