The Pinkies!

So, many of you might know that one of my my adopted mice had babies a few weeks back. I still have no idea what I'm going to do with the little buggers, but they sure are cute!

There were 12 originally, but now there are 7. 4 blacks, 1 white, 1 dove and one parti-coloured (white and tan).

I found one dead early on, was thrown out of the nest. Don't know what happened to the other four though...I'm thinking momma must have eaten them.

They sure are cute. You're probably right. Mama most likely ate the rest. That happens a lot, especially if it was a first litter or the mother was very young. Have you sexed the babies? They are usually easy to tell when they are very little. Just look for the nipples on the females before they get all hairy.

They are so cute. I had the same thing happen. I bought two female mice and one gave me babies a week later. (I think it was a week) I kept all of them. Seperated the boys from the girls. good luck with those sweet babies. They are fun.

Two males and five females, but two more died. A blackie and the dove coloured one were found dead this morning, looks like murder most foul!

If any survive you have to post plenty of pics of them growing up. That will be mice AND toads (or are they frogs?! I forget!) that I'm hooked on watching grow up!
