I was working alone all weekend, and the kennel was pretty empty. Here's who was boarding this weekend.

Blue the Husky mix. Pretty dog, very nice, but a pain when it comes to eating.

Abby Dooby the Goldendoodle, and her sister and brother (you can kind of see one in the pic). It was taken through the window cause she's too spun to sit still indoors.

and Tess, the senior Shepherd who lives at the kennel. Her owner died and in his will he allocated money for her to be taken care of.

Zoe the cat, really sweet but very intense. She tends to nip if you don't pay attention to her.

and Annabelle and Sputnik

Blue is freakin' cool looking. :)

We had quite the mixture at the kennel this weekend too. I was too ticked off to get any pictures though.

How nice that Tess' owner made sure that she was taken care of after his death.

Thanks for introducing us to the other dogs around where you work. I've never seen a goldendoodle before.

I have two jobs, I work at a boarding kennel in the a.m. and on weekends and my full time job is as a property manager.

Your dogs look adorable. :) Bet you find comfort in them after a tiring day at work.

Pah, why does everyone always like the husky mix??

Tess is the best, she's gorgeous :) Oh Katie... Just one more?? What's six when you've got five already? ;)

Poor Tess, that's heartbreaking... She has to live out her days in kennels? Does she stay there all the time? Is there someone with her all the time, or is it an 8am-5pm kinda place? Awwwwww, poor old girl, she needs a proper home. :(

Cool getting a look into your work. At least when you come home, you know you have a calm, sweet, loving, well behaved bunch to relax with!:biglaugh:

I also feel for the old girl, Tess. Does she have a good existence? Hopefully she's happy and loved, and given the attention she's earned.

Tess has been living in the kennel full time for the past two years. She has something called Fischers (I think) which is a bum problem. She has to have her bum cleaned and is medicated daily, but other that that she's a perfect dog. Yeah, she's always in her kennel or her run, but when I'm there I take her for walks, and she plays with Dan and Jeanie.

The kennel is for sale, so I've already suggested that when it sells I take Tessa home with me. The new people (if ever it sells) might not want to do the work it takes for Tess to be comfortable, and just ditch her. Her whole life, medication, vets bills, grooming bills is all covered, so I could take her no problem. She's about $400 a month in meds. Whats six when you already have five?:yikes:
