my crested gecko seems to have lost his stickiness on his feet. He doesn't seem to be as active as when i first got him. He seemed to have trouble shedding so i put him in a bowl and misted him and i was able to get most of it off his feet. He is no longer shedding. He doesn't move as fast either. any ideas?

do you mist your cresty every day?
you have to be careful, because their toes can fall off if they're too dry when they try to shed.

i don't know for sure, but i can offer suggestions (in the form of a question lol)

do you use a water conditioner in your mister?
and did you use a water conditioner in the bowl you put him in?
maybe trying to soak him in water that has an electrolyte solution added in to help hydrate him?
maybe he's just worn out from having a hard time shedding?
and what do you mean, he's lost the stickiness in his feet? he can't hang on to anything?

No water conditioner. His shedding is gone. Yes I mist his cage, 10 gal, twice a day. His cage has a moss base. He doesn't climb any more, but holds onto things with his tail. He is not as energetic as he used to be. Has trouble catching crickets and seems to have a heard time moving around. I started putting calcium in his baby food a few times a week. The crickets are gut loaded and i spinkle them with the calcium powder as well. Thanks for trying to help.

Some lizards in general tend to be sluggish for a bit after a shed. Don't worry, unless TOO much time goes by. Also, are you sure all of the shedding is gone, there still might be SOMETHING stuck on his little toes or in between or something thats preventing it. Or maybe he just doesn't want to climb right now, heh. How would you feel if you lost a whole layer of skin? Hope things get better.
