I may have a pregnancy! Mystery my female is very agressive and not hand friendly to anyone but me so she has yet to be spayed since no vet could handle her let alone me getting her into the carrier. This wasnt an issue till we got Merlin, 2 weeks ago i had his apt for his neutering. We 2 days before his surgery Mystery went into heat and found my little boy on top of her in my bed!!! I tried to keep them seperated as much as i could but im not sure how many times they had bred before that since i wasnt home. What is the likely hood that she got pregnant? Or what signs should i look for?

...really, xray and palpation are the only way to prove a pregnancy. However, this isn't possible because of the kitty's attitude.
Has your vet offered to give you sedatives at home to at least get her in the carrier? I don't know about them, but we have a 'squeeze' cage that's perfect for feral kitties. You never have to touch them...

Hes giving me kitty valum and of course now i cant find it and is 10 bux a pill!. I read that around 3-4wks is when you can start noticing nipple enlargement and such so i guess its a wait and see thing. If she is pregnant though i have great homes for a kittens and will go home with first shots and worming

If you are able to handle the cat enough to put her in a carrier it may not be as difficult as you think when she gets to the vets.
Witch had been here just a few months before she required medical care, and it took two people to corner and catch her. Furniture was knocked over in the process, it was unreal. I went into the vets office with bleeding gashs on my hands that could well have used stitchs if I weren't too big a sissy to get them. The tech had dog handling gloves ready and called in extra assistance. The vet removed the top from her carrier, said "you don't look so bad to me kitty cat", and gave her the wormer and vaccinations. She didn't hiss, claw, spit or even growl, she just shot one panicked look around the room then cowered in her carrier.
Spitfire was our last feral rescue and I discovered a cuterebra less than a week after trapping her. It wasn't a much better scenario getting her into the carrier, but once in she permitted the vet to examine and treat her, and was relatively docile the 10 days she was caged because the resulting abcess required twice daily care. For her spay 10 days ago I was able to just pick her up and drop her in, thank goodness!

That can be from being in heat and also a false pregnancy...
Also, be aware...sometimes valium can be an appetite stimulant (IV I think) and can also be the complete opposite in some kitties...so, just a forewarning. :p

I got her to let me check her out some, her nipples are pink but not really large its only been 2wks though. She did seem to come out of heat rather quick though. I have taken her to the vet 3 times in her life, when i found her at 4wks old and at 12wks for shots. The 3rd time was for rabies at 16wks when she started being super psycho kitty and me, the nurse and dr all ended up scratched and bitten. Just in the last 7mons has she really let me touch her much she used to just randomly attack for no reason

you can get her spayed right now, even if she had conceived. do please find a way to get her crated (how about a havahart trap?) and get her in to be spayed!

She has abandonment issues bad, i found her and her dead sib in the high weeds and was always a bit aggresive even when i found her. She DOES NOT like men she shredded my bf hand up more than once. I kept her because she would have been put down right away. She has a scruff but she brings her back legs around and messes your day up

this is why a havahart trap would be good. No one will even have to touch her. keep it around for a few days until it becomes a familiar object, then put her food in it one day, unset, to see how she does, then set it and, when you know she is hungry put something irresistible in it.
thankhurray for you for rescuing her!

Do the ol' scruff and stretch method. Some people think it's mean...but, we have to do it to Catillac just to vaccinate her. So, I totally feel for you.
Scruff her neck, and IMMEDIATELY grab her back legs and stretch her out in a straight line. Then, put here wherever you want her. It doesn't hurt her, and they usually forget about this kind of hold within the hour. We do it to MANY kitties at work. Sometimes, it's the only way to hold them. For instance, like my cat.

Kitties are very forgiving of the scruff method I think because it reminds them of their mommies.
