monkey thy name is mmischief,but during criss they show remarkable intelligence and team work.on 15 of June 04 in the village surfali khadi,distt. karnal,haryana state (India)a monkey fell down in a 60' deep well,but could manage from drowning by griping firmly,a crevice in brick wall with paw.hearing his panic cries,about 100 monkeys gathered on the well,peeping down and perhaps contemplating rescue opration.on looking villagers droped a rope in the well but were chased away by angry flock.suddenly one monkey grabing the parapet sliped in the well,others followed him catching each others arm,forming a chain, till the first one reached the fallen monkey inside the well,and in reverse order they started comeing out with traped one in the last.hundreds of villagers watched with "EYES WIDE OPEN".
