There are many different foods you can feed budgies that they'll love. I feed mine the smallest pellets, as well as some seed mix. There are many different kinds of seed type foods you can get at petstores, such as millet spray, where they have to "work" for the food. Also my budgies get a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, and especially like carrot chunks and broccoli. It took me awhile to get my budgies to try new foods, but with patience and persistence they'll eat just about anything now. Another thing I do is bake bread type treats for them. Basically, I crush up parrot pellets in a coffee grinder, add some sort of flour (spelt, chick pea, whole wheat, etc.), baking powder, ground flax seeds, beans, lentils, peas, grated fruits & veggies (whatever kinds I have) and pretty much anything healthy, and add more flour or pellets until the dough is a good texture, at which point you can bake it (I roll teaspoon sized pieces into balls and roll those in seeds before baking). So get creative, and Tweety will thank you! Seeds can be a good addition to a bird's diet, but shouldn't be the only food a bird eats.
