My cat has had a watery drainage from her left eye for about the last few days. Does anyone out there have any suggestions about what I can do to help stop this drainage from her eye, or at least any ideas about why this is happening? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

It could be a few things. I would suggest you get her to a vet so he can assess the situation. He should be able to give you suggestions on how to take care of it, or medicated eye drops if need be.

I agree with Nite rose, take the kitty to the vet. She could have an eye infection that can lead to blindness if left untreated. Good luck and keep us posted on how she's doing.

yes absolutely get to the vet. its possible that kitty scratched the cornea and if left untreated it can lead to infection and blindness.

O.K if you want to get rid of it you can take a dry, clean towel and open it's eye and put the towel to the corner and let the water on the towel if it doesn't work go to the vet...... VET...!!!
