Sophie is a white capped pionus parrot. She is an only bird and can clearly not pluck her own head. Is this normal?

She is molting. So this is normal? She's never done this before.

Rio has a small bald spot on her too and I think it is due to her molting. If the bald spot on Sophie doesn't go away in a few weeks though, I would take her to the vet and see if it's something else.
