O.K. everyone, as requested I took some pics of Humphrey when I went to Purdue to pick up Simon at the clinic. For those of you who missed that thread Humphrey was at the clinic for long term care for a foot injury. He was stabled across the aisle from the sick horse I took in. As you can see he is quite the ham.....

ahhh what an adorable face!!!! wow i would love to ride a camel at some point! So weird it's like he knows what you're doing look at those wise eyes!

Isn't he great? He is an intact male used for breeding. His real job is Christmas pageants. He is very personable and likes to be scratched behind his ears.

He was sleeping when I got there. He is covered with pine shavings that are used for bedding. His hair is dense & slightly curly so it holds on to shavings, hay, and pretty much anything lightweight that he lays on.

hahaha i couldnt think of camel songs so i kept singing "humphrey the camel" to the tune of Frosty the Snowman...hehehe
