Thought I would share this with all you cat lovers. My cat was losing his fur so he was quite bald on his tummy and back legs. As well, he would throw up after eating. I took him to a vet and she said he was allergic to something. Probably his food. She gave him a cortizone shot and a bag of special food for cats with allergies and told me not to feed him anything else for 8 months.
Since I've started that, he seems a lot more content, is not throwing up and no longer continually licking his fur and biting his skin. He climbed on my lap today which is something he doesn't usually do and purred in contentment. He is some smart kitty! :) Loti
