Thought I would share this with all you cat lovers. My cat was losing his fur so he was quite bald on his tummy and back legs. As well, he would throw up after eating. I took him to a vet and she said he was allergic to something. Probably his food. She gave him a cortizone shot and a bag of special food for cats with allergies and told me not to feed him anything else for 8 months.
Since I've started that, he seems a lot more content, is not throwing up and no longer continually licking his fur and biting his skin. He climbed on my lap today which is something he doesn't usually do and purred in contentment. He is some smart kitty! :) Loti

Yes.....I agree...cats are very very smart. My cat Frankie is 12 this year and she has one of her hind legs amputated....so I started noticing her fur was looking pretty rough on the side she can not groom so I got her brush and oh dear...she had little "tags" all over..I felt so bad. So I got the sissors and cut them out then brushed her good..she layed by my feet the rest of the night all stretched out purring very loudly.....as if she was saying...thank you momma...lol

yep. He is a happy camper. And he does like to get brushed too. I get rid of the fleas this way and he seems to understand.
