The breeder sent pics today of the puppy she thinks fits us and our family really well. Although that could change, this is most likely the guy!
Needless to say, there is some excitment at our house!:D
(By the way, it's a Canaan Dog puppy...)

After a LOT of research, we found the Canaans to be a really good fit for our family. Plus, their 'story' is really cool -- only dog native to Israel, etc.
After that, you know how it goes...everything seemed to fit in place, and here we are! :)

My aunt was actually thinking of getting one a while back, before we talked her out of dog ownership that is! I did some snooping into them and they do seem to be a really neat dog. Can't wait to watch her grow up! What are you calling her?

It's a he...so we decided on Jonah.

That is one sweet looking puppy..I will have to read up on them because I do not know their history and Jonah is a great name!!!!

Yea! We found out we can get the puppy next week, on Thursday!
(And by the way, we changed the name from Jonah to Levi... :o )
