Colds?

My Parrot has been sneezing lately? This is making me very nervous? I don't see anything in her nose like its not running or anything like that. could it be thats its too dry? Let me know? Gail:confused:

Is she sneezing alot, or just a few times a day? If she's sneezing pretty often, then check to see if there's anything in her nares, because sometimes little pieces of seeds or other things get stuck in there which causes them to sneeze to get it out. If there's no discharge then that's a good sign, but keep a close eye on her. When did you notice her starting? If she doesn't get better in a day then I'd take her to the vet. I'd at least call an avian vet and ask their opinion about it.

Good point! Still though I'd watch closely b/c if you thought she was just copying you and it turned out she really wasnt, then, well, that'd be bad!

I do sneeze but not alot,you may be right. she probably is doing what I do LOL

jake is a cronic sneezer! lol....when i asked the vet about it, he said that as long as nothing comes out and it isn't running or have stuff around his nostrils, he's fine. you probally should still talk to your vet, that;s just what mone told me :)

I forgot, But my budgie always sneezes I mean like crazy,maybe she is copying her?

Hammie sneezes like me and I think it's so cute.

and my budgie sneezes like a family member. Sophie rarely sneezes but my budgie always sneezesbut she is mimicing.
