Hi!
Does anyone like Horses? I have hardly seen anyone talk about horses. I am trying to make a poll about horses. Um, also, does anyone HAVE a horse here?

harry, i have one horse but take care of 3. do you have horses. there are a few of us but too few, so they get mentioned in passing there really arent many posts about them. if you want to talk horses, post something in the main forum. thats where we usually are.

the poll doesn't fit with your question. Pets aren't only horse, but cats, dogs, fish, etc. and for the record, I'm not allowed to have a horse, they are far too expensive for my family's budget. I have enough of a yard, if a horse doesn't mind a hill :p The closest I ever came was when a deer ran through my neighbor's fence, and his horse got loose. That was fun. The horse has since passed away. I'm lucky that my community college offers horseback riding classes.

you may as well own the full size version, since it costs almost as much to take care of a fall as a 15 hander. plus you can ride the 15 hander. :D

I have 4 permanant horse/ponies at my sanctuary. Then I more coming in here and there. I consider these 4 my pets.

We have 2 horses one is an 8 year old male named sky, he is a grey horse(my favorite color)
and a 21 year old sorrel female named Sissy (she stepped on me when I was a year old, I still have the scar). They're really awesome animals, but they are A LOT of work!

I ride horses, I do not feel as though I want to take on the responsiblity and price of one currently. I take lessons and I ride them though. I hope to someday get one, when I am a bit older and have a lot more money ;)
