(Oops, sorry I posted this early in the questions and answers forum)
Today will be my third day with Bodhisattva (Bodhi) a 6 month old male Boston Terrier. It's been quite an experience to say the least, I'm currently trying to housebreak him using the crate method. He already loves his little crate home and spends time in it voluntarily bringing in various toys with him to play and chew.
Heres my question... My work schedule is as follows. Mon - Fri.
6:00 am wake up
7:00 am at work (10 min drive)
11:00 am 1 hour lunchbreak at home
4:00 pm back home
When would be the best time to feed bodhi to make his bowel movements easier on him? I've been told to feed him twice a day and I've also heard once a day would be fine... and another question, am I supposed to let him take care of business after he finishes eating? or should I just look for signs that he needs to go?
I've been getting mixed advice from various dog owners and it is all getting more confusing as my 3 day weekend is coming to an end.
Any replies would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks in advance.
