Hi everybody. Yesterday I found a green anole sitting on the inside of my window. I tried to"persuade" him to go back outside but with no luck. He was gone last night, but I discovered him in the same spot today. Our weather has suddenly turned cold which might be the reason he came in in the first place. I've tried to feed him pieces of lunchmeat, but he wasn't interested. I don't want him to starve, but I don't want to capture him and put him in an enclosure either. advice? Thank you!

Leave a window cracked so he can get back out. He'll leave when he gets hungry enough.

i actually kept a wild anole as a pet when i was a kid. We drove to florida as a family to visit my grandparents and we caught anoles.. my parents let us keep them and bring them home.. One out of the three survived 4 YEARS!! we just fed him calcium dusted crickes and meal worms... but with one living in your house, unless you have bugs in your house, he will probably starve if you dont let him outside OR cage him and take care of him yourself.
