also...cappy's underdeveloped paw doesn't seem to be callusing too badly...are you doing anything special to it?

Nothing special YET. He is exactly one year old, so now we will be getting a "sleeve" for it. Its a silicone sleeve with a hard rubber bottom.

We tried boots and stuff, but they just dont stay one. So what we have been doing is, instead of walking him down the street, we take him to the park and walk him on the grass. the grass doesnt bother him in the least, but the cement can NOT be comfortable.. we also stopped going to the dog park that had the gravel in it, and now we just use a local baseball field.

Great pictures - I love how they are snuggling like that! In the third picture Cappy is awake and looks like he is trying to stay still so he doesn't wake MoJo. How sweet!

Yes.. he does get a little weird when he wakes up and notices that a cat is sleeping on him.. i think its because hes scared if he moves, he will wake them up and they will smack him.
