I adopted Chloe two weeks ago, last Tuesday I noticed her left eye was red and inflamed. I took her to the vet and got the eye drops and some pain killers. Two days after that I had to take her back because she sounded congested and was sneezing a lot and really hard. So for the last week I have had to deal with putting in eye drops, getting her to take her pain medications and her antibiotics. It's been a lot of fun, especially since I have to keep her in the bathroom so she doesn't infect my older cat Zoe. She been on the mend thankfully and I snapped a few more shots of Chloe.

Chloe is very beautiful! Did she come from a shelter? It's not uncommon for shelter kitties to come home with URIs.

Your quick action in recognizing there was a problem and getting her treatment was excellent.

Be sure to tell us how Zoe and Chloe do, once they begin to get to know eachother.

If there are introduction problems we can help with that!<s>

I also will be interested in hearing how they respond to their names, since they are so close together in how they sound.

Thank you, Chloe came from a foster home that had 18 other cats (it's more then they would like but Madison has been overloaded with cats lately). Chloe seems to be getting better, her eye looks doesn't seem very red anymore but she is still congested. I'm letting her out to play for short periods of with Zoe simply because I think she is sick of being coped up in bathroom. The cat's are not getting alone as well as I would like but I'll go into detail on that on a thread in the cat section.
