Long hair and eyes

Bandit has one stray curl that keeps turning into his right eye. Any suggestions on how to train it down? I usually just get him groomed, but I wanted to leave them a little more fuzzy for winter.

If it's just one curl I'd take some scissors to it.

I tried that last night, but he wiggles and I am afraid I am going to hurt his eye. I'll have to get someone to help me hold him.

lol.. I wish it was that simple. Bandit sleeps upside down with his face burried into the side of his dog bed, or any other blanket or clothing piece we left on the floor. And he is a very light sleeper.

I think you need a helper or maybe a groomer. Some of my Yorkies are stinkers when it comes to grooming time so I have a grooming table with an overhead arm that holds a short leash to help control them. Even with that it is sometimes a battle that wears both of us out. Good luck with Bandit!
