Lucky I was playing with my camera tonight.

THE MOUSE GOT AWAY!

I heard a ruckus, my dogs were all crowding around my cat, getting all excited. I went to look, and there under a bird stand was Kitty with her catch! I'm not exciteable, but I still kinda freaked, grabbed my slippers, and camera, and started watching kitty (after sending the dogs away) to see what she was doing.

Since my cat plays with........not eats mice........as expected it came running towards me as I'm looking for her. I jumped up onto a chair, and took the photos from there. She'd catch it, let it go and stand back until it moved, then start the game again.

She finally lost the mouse under the washing machine.

Years ago we had a cat that only played with the mouse also - guess they are so well fed there is no need to eat them.

My cat won't eat them-she just carries them up to me...once I woke up to a dead mouse on the living room floor! Yuck!

Oh, poor mouse. It must have been terrified!! I'm sure it didn't enjoy the game.

I'm sure it didn't.

But......I feel this way, any mouse, dumb enough to come out in the middle of the day, with 3 GSDs and 1 cat loose, is asking for trouble. This mouse found it, but yet it still lives to try again another day.

How about a mouse dumb enough to come out in a house with 16 cats? I don't mind live mice, they're cute little guys, but I hate finding headless ones!
