Everyone, meet Buzz. Buzz is going to be joining my family as soon as the plumber makes my bath tub stop oozing water into my kitchen (hopefully Tuesday!). Currently Buzz lives in a barn on a large horse farm. He was born blind in one eye.

Sorry for the picture quality, Buzz was looking for pets instead of pics last night. Once he gets here to the house I am sure I will have the chance to get some better shots.

I hope Buzz doesn't have to wait long...he's a sweet-looking little guy.

Thank you everyone for appreciating Buzz. He is an older kitty who has been living in a barn and not being treated very well by the other barn cats. He is actually looking a little rough these days. The barn cats live in the hayloft where they have food, water, litter boxes, kitty condos, and lots of hay to snooze on. A little over a month ago the other cats chased him downstairs and would not let him back up. He was alarmingly skinny, but the vet said he was otherwise o.k. He has some chronic respiratory issues and he does not breathe very well through his nose. Kitty appetites are stimulated by the smell of food, so we started feeding him some smelly fishy canned food and he has gained some weight.

I brought him over here to the house with me this morning and he is busy investigating all of the boxes and other moving debris. I thought he might enjoy having some heat as it has gotten quite cold in the barn. He will be alone over night, but he has been alone overnight in the barn for years. I am also hoping that being out of the barn will help his breathing. There is so much dust in a barn, from both the bedding and the hay.

Buzz is really cute! And he looks like a sweet kitty. I love grey striped cats. You are so kind to take him in and give him a loving home. I wish you and Buzz many happy times together. lbee
