Sorry about the title again haha, but this is one way to get your attention to see this and see what you think about it.....This is another future litter I'm considering getting a female puppy out of next year. 100% DDR. In fact the female is being imported from Germany....but will be but bred after she gets her SchH 1 title here pretty soon. Shes ready for her title for the most part, shes just a little slower on the tracking part because her food drive isn't the greatest. They plan to continue her titles after the first litter though. They will be sending me a few videos of her doing protection, and from how they talk about her she seems like a very nice female....And she has an awesome DDR type head on her I love it. The first picture is the male that she may decide to have her bred to before coming over. She did tell me more about her working abilities, and temperament. I'm going to have to learn more about the male also......I like the Tiekerhook dogs.....but I'm not certain thats a dog I want to live with....work with definitely....but I haven't heard the best of things about some of them when it comes to living with them....maybe its just some of them and not all....but still....DDR may be a better way to go, and I've been around and worked a few DDR dogs. Other than working ability and the temperament, another thing that attracted me was the head and coloring on this female. She has the dark sable coloring, brown around the eyes, and an awesome blocky head. They sent me a picture of her biting the sleeve, but I won't post it on this one due to it only allowing three pictures. She plans to keep a puppy out of the litter also. Anyways, what do you think?

I thought you wanted 'high drive' in your dog?

DDR are not known for the drives like the Czech lines are. Have you ever thought of a 50/50 breeding of Czech/DDR? Many folk seem to find this an awesome crossing giving them the blocky DDR heads, and bringing some of the Czech drive.

I like Tiekerhook better........but fear they are too much dog for me.

Hmm Ela that I previously had was a DDR import....her drives were off the charts. I dono though, I haven't really considered DDR/Czech......The male I'm getting is Czech....but I really wouldn't mind a DDR female to be honest.

Shes telling me that she is a very hard female with good aggression, and she is trying to breed back to getting them a little harder than before, instead of a little showy. Shes wanting to breed back to some of the older, good DDR lines. So who knows, this may be one that I consider.

For dogs without high prey drive, training can be alittle more difficult, or at least needs to be done slightly differently. Many folk love lower prey drives. Me, I like em in the middle ground.

Looks like a nice female.
