Sweet as Pi

Here are a few pics of my new Pionus. She is believed to be about 3 years old.
I was in love the moment I saw her and to my surprise my husband adores her just as much. She is not tame but is now felling comfortable enough to not run back into her cage when I enter the room.

I never realized a maximillian had such lovely colors. How can they ever be described as drab? I love the scalloping on her head and neck, and the shading on her wings. I think she's lovely.

They've a sweet, gentle nature, and are known for thier calm demeanors. You're going to love her!
