What are the best king of starter fish to have in a 30 gallon tank? I have never have had fish and want to start off on the best foot.

the best thing to do is work with freshwater fish. basic fish that can be used to cycle a tank is about 3-4 mollies. they will cycle and 30 gallon in about a month and basically can be left in for a community tank.
