Thought I would share a funny story from over the weekend.
I have mentioned in another post about how smart FatBoy can be, but at other times I often wonder if he has a cotton ball in place of a brain
When ever I have a tub of water, Fats will come into the bathroom and try and splash at the water from outside the tub, he will often times balance himself on top of the tub and splash around. He HATES to be in water, but LOVES splashing at it.
Yesterday he came in a little late and I was already out of the tub with the water draining, but he still jumped on top of the tub to see if he could splash around, but the water was too low, he was pretty interested in the sounds the drain was making though as the water went down.
Then he did something shocking, he went into the bathtub, with about 3 inches of water in it! I just froze, because I did not want to scare him. He stood in the bathtub watching the drain rather intently for a couple if minutes, then he got this look of utter fear mixed with an “Eeek! This is water I’m standing in!” on his face and flew out of the bathtub and out of the bathroom.
Silly kitty, I think he got so caught up in the drain that he forgot about his fear of water, until his 2 second attention span kicked in and he got bored with the drain…
