we got a new piece of PET furniture!

I'm soo psyched. I was perusing craigslist when i came across an ad that said Pet Bed "chaise lounge" $50. I opened it knowing i really can't spend $50, but i emailed the lady anyways. I basically said that I couldnt afford it, but if she needed it out of her house, i would come by and pick it up. It would make 5 cats and 1 dog VERY happy.. Well, a week later and she emailed me back!! she said she was sick of looking at it, her puppy would NOT go on it and she wanted it out of there.

She was an elderly lady who seemed to have a lot of money. She was really nice.

Anyways, i went and picked it up, it was a little dirty, but nothing my handy "bissell little green" couldnt handle.

I LOVE IT!! and so does Cappy AND squirt. The thing is, Cappy LOVES to lean. He sits like a person on our couch with his little elbow up and his chin on the arm rest.. WELL .. this thing is PERFECT for him to chill on when the couch is full..

YEA!! thats what i said! the lady just wanted it OUT and no one would even pay $50!! but no one offered to take it for free except me :)

Cappy really loves it. its a tad small for him.. actually he JUST fits on it perfectly.. no extra room though.. But the cats love it too.. he is sleeping on it as we speak.. now i have to find a good place for it.. Maybe when the fishtanks go, i can put it there.

hey, you have a beagle.. did you ever notice that beagles prefer to have their heads up on something.. He never likes to lay with like a normal dog curled in a ball, he ALWAYS has a pillow!!

i didnt set that up either, he carries that pillow around with him and puts it under his head and lays on it.. one time, he actually had a racket ball that he put under his chin and then rested/balanced his head on it.. I WISH I had my camera that time!

Okay, that pillow picture is just rediculous! What a ham. :) How big is he these days? Is he more of the 13 inch or 15 inch variety?

he is over 15. We think he might be part fox hound because he has slightly longer hair on his tail and foxhounds look like beg beagles.he is the perfect size because I cal still pick him up and carry him.

i'm REALLY psyched over it.. cappy sleeps inthe bedroom with us where he has his own bed, so this little chair was in the living room being used by THREE CATS!! i couldnt believe it.. it was SOOO cute.. I just need to have a good place to put it now.. its kinda sitting in the middle of the floor..

Both of my Beagle mixes are absolute sucks about having something comfy to sleep on. Jeanie has completely stolen Levons bean bag bed, and Dan sleeps on my sofa sets chair. Jeanie does the head thing the most though. She uses the other dogs random body parts as pillows often.

Jeanie is more Beagle, while Dan is more Shepherd, but they both have many of those lovely Beagle traits.;)
