I believe it is Mr parrot. Go to members on your upper screen and look up members and you can see who is who.

Hmmmmmm.... There's a humongous old dictionary at our school that has every word imaginable (even "conure" which I haven't been able to find in any others!) so I'll try and remember to look it up there!

An avatar in computer language means a small picture that each member of a board has that goes before their name on posts, or shows that they've posted, and just represents that user. An avatar could be anything from a little picture of a bird, to a little picture of yourself!

I looked up "avatar" in the really huge dictionary today and there was a meaning that would make a bit more sense, but silly me, I left the paper I copied it down on in my locker! So, I'll try to remember it tomorrow and post the other definition.

We have avatars now!! You can get to them through your user control panels. You can upload any picture that's 50x50 pixels. You can get to a good site to get avatars from here. (http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Vines/9384/birds.html)

2: "Manifestation in human form; incarnation"
3: "Manifestation or presentation to the world as a ruling power or object of worship"

I guess it depends on the context the person who called your husband an avatar was using, but if he was joking around, could he possibly have meant something like definition 3? Like he was praising your husband? Other than that, I have no idea. :confused:
