Sucker fish babies?

I have a tank full of chihlid and i bought a sucker fish along time ago it died. like 2 yrs ago. and today i notice theres a sucker fish in my tank. How do sucker fish have babies.

Have you added anything new to the tank? Plants, whether real or fake ... rocks ... fish? Plecos are egg layers; an egg could have been attached to something you just added!

That's how we have a tank FULL of snails! They stuck to a couple rocks that were scooped up and added to our 47gal when we added fish.

just a little note.. if you want to get rid of snails entirely.. get a freashwater puffer or two.. they LOVE to eat snails.

From what I understand though, those puffers can be a bit on the nasty side to your other fish. A friend of ours lost half their tank to the puffer they bought.
