I was wondering who (if any of you) lived with a meezer or a siamese mix? Hi, Im new to the board and I have 3 meezers, a mix and a grey and white lady. All but 2 of my cats are recued or "unwanted" and I love them dearly. I got Loosey (Screwloose) almost 2 years ago from a friend who decided she had "too many cats!!" and was going to bring her to the pound. She started it all. She was pregnant at the time and I got my second cat from her. Nosferatu is a solid black boy who sometimes is a monster with fur. :) Five months ago my sister called me with a problem. There was a cat she was feeding that someone had abandoned near her apartment complex. She isnt allowed to have cats so she asked me to take her. How could I say no? So Princess Squishy came to live with us. Then we got Mouth. Mouth is a four month old bundle of love! Not that Id ever tell my other kids (human or otherwise), but she is my favorite, my baby-angel!! I got her when she was 4 weeks old and her mother stopped feeding her. She almost died, I had to bottle feed her. I even took her to work with me. I think thats why she is so special to me and why I love her so much. Nine weeks ago Princess Squish gave us a beautiful litter of surprise kittens (all of wich I found great homes for) and is now spayed. I emphisize the need to spay and neuter all you pets. Living with meezers has been a challenge, to say the least, but wonderful. They all have such unique personalities. After mouth I had decided my family was complete. And then I got a call from a friend who had gone to the local animal shelter. And we got Gambit, a 8 month old lynx point boy. And now my family is complete! (For now ;))

Well welcome mouthsmommy, and all your fur-babies. What interesting names you have given to them. Thanks for spreading the word on altering your animals. I have one dog (rotty) Jake and 2 cats Cozmo and Fat Cat. And they all own me, I'm just a slave that loves them dearly.

Hi mouthsmommy and welcome :)

I love the names!!.. how cute are they LOL. You remind me of me :D .. just dont know how to say "no" haha. I have a siamese mix female that is 15 yrs old. I found her screaming outside my window early one morning.. she was about 5 weeks old... obviously "dumped" because she was too little to stray. She's definately been a challange.. as all siamese are... and I love her dearly. I also have a 8 yr old male that came from a feral litter. He was a kitten when I found him and on deaths door. My last furball is a 5 yr old female Calico. She was my father-in-laws cat. My father-in-law loved this cat dearly, he lost his battle with cancer last October so she came to live with us.
I also have 4 dogs(all rescues), 4 parrots(3 rescues), 1 Iguana(rescue) and fish.

We're so happy you joined our pet loving family!!. I also think my family is complete... at least until the next one comes along LOL.

Welcome to the board mouthsmommy. I love your pet's names. I have 4 cats: Maybelline, Miss Emma, Indy and Smudge and 2 dogs: Matilda and Cassie.

I used to have a kitty (she passed on 3 years ago) named "Mercury Cougar Four Door Hardtop Deluxe Sedan Fully Equipped With Whitewalls." We just called her Merk. ;o) And no, I did not name her. LOL!

Hi mouthsmommy, I too am a cat lover. I have 4 (3 rescues) Everytime my daughter brings one home I say that's it we're done. But that only ends up being until the next thing she brings home, which was a turtle she brought home in her purse! (she's 15) I've had both siamese and siamese mix. They are truely great cats! But then they all are! :D

I got another one, lol. A scrawny little tiger-stripe male who is small enough to fit on one hand. We're calling him Vinny after my boyfriend. They are both kinda scrawny and skanky, lol. He's so patheticly cute. He was wondering around the backyard where I feed the strays in my yard (along with my landlady) and I assume he wandered in with someone and got lost. He bit me, it was love at first bite. :D And I'm in the process of "adopting" another siamese from people who havent gotten the concept of spaying their 9 yr old mom of thousands. They arn't sure if they want to give her up, but I'm pretty persistant. She's a blue point snowshoe- crosseyed like my lil Mouthy and very snuggly. Thank you all for the welcomes and no prob, take the names- I'll tell my kids their all Sr.s! Also, in my managerie, (speaking of the turtle) I have a foot long american snapper living in my bathtub. Anybody want him? lol He was hit by a car (or 6) and they cracked his shell. So he's trying to heal himself and I'm trying to avoid him eating any of us. No one I can get him to will take him and he's too big to be in the tank I have 24 hours a day, so while we sleep, he's tub-happy. We are calling him Ford (Found-On-Road-Dead). Well, I drone on about my babies. Thanx again. B
