Hello everyone!
It's been a while since I've come to this site. I've noticed a problem with 2 of my cats. It seems that they have some sort of swelling on their lip. One of the cats just had it on the tip of his lip, but the other one has a little swelling on the side. I figured maybe it was from something they ate, but the other cat we have doesn't seem to have that problem. Well, I hop I will be able to find out what the problem is. My wife is insisting on going to the vet. We may have to do that soon because it is a bit scary. Well, I look forward to responses from anyone. Thanks a lot.:D

Special,
Thanks for the reply. I did a little research online and found out some things about that swelling. It appears to be some sort of allergic reaction to plastic bowls. Once learning about that, I remember my wife saying something about the container she just bought has some sort of special anti bacteria sprayed on those container. We just decided to change the container back to the original. Well, I really do appreciate your reply. Thanks

I had that problem last year out of the blue with one of my cats. I got rid of all our plastic food bowls and went to ceramic and it immediately went away.

my chili cat got cat chin acne from a plastic bowl too.. it never turned into redness or swelling, but it could have if i hadnt noticed it..
We actually treated it by taking some peroxide on a Q-tip and just gently scrubbing the area and then wiping with a warm wash cloth so she doesnt lick it off.. it cleared in a few days and we went over to a ceramic bowl
