My new puppy at 6 weeks

Some of you might remember back at the end of October I reserved a puppy from a specific working german shepherd breeding. They finally whelped on June 11th. Three boys and three girls. I've been waiting (impatiently) to find out which puppy I will get. I think I finally have a winner. She is a solid black female. I am expecting her to come home August 7th.

I am hoping to train her for Schutzhund. I know we have a few working dog people on here. For those that care to know, here's the pedigrees on her parents.

I know about waiting. I've been waiting on special breeding also. First breeding didn't take, now am waiting on the second try. In fact I'm hopfully finding out today, if the female conceived.

V Zasko vom Prielberg SchH 3 KKL 1 is the sire, he is in Belgium. A frozen semen breeding is what we're doing.

Very nice, congrats. Can't wait to see your pup as it grows and as you start training. Once I move out of here I am wanting to acquire another GSD for Schutzhund hopefully, possibly one that is already titled though.

Thats why I don't like artificial insimination breedings. I've heard sooooo many times about the pregnancy not taking place. I almost planned one myself. I talked to the owner of Iltis von der Wildsau...love that dog, but he is 10 now. He has four frozen straws from Iltis that he would have sold me for $500, but I'm leary about it with a lot of them not taking place. I don't know with his age if he is even offered at stud anymore, we just talked about the other. If you don't remember him he is a DDR import, SchH3 IPO3 KKL1.
