First off...some of you may know, and some may not...but, I've got some goldfish. Originally, everyone lived happily in the same tank until Jack and Ed started to gnaw on Elizabeth. It was so bad she could not swim...I kid you not, she had no fins. She just sat on the bottom of the tank and wriggled around. So, we bought her her own tank...and boy, what an improvement! Slowly but surely, her fins are growing back...she can swim to the top of her tank and get food and she's even starting to look pretty again!

Elizabeth Bathory - She is not even the full length of my index finger. A very small fishie, and used to be the biggest in the tank.

Then, we move on to Ed. He is the newest of the three, had him for about year. But, the way his body is looking...I need to get rid of the ornament in the tank and provide only plants for them...he seems to be banging up his sides on it. I took the picture with my hand so you can see his size.

And last but not least, Jack. When I saw Ed last night...I told Charles (who claims Jack is his fish...though, he does nothing for him except hand me the water hose through the window to do a water change) that Jack was about to find him a perma-home in the toilet if he doesn't learn to stop beating up the other fishes. Charles just laughed and told me that I couldn't flush him...he's too big. Figures...

Jack is also the one that Catillac took out at one point. She cut his eye with one of her claws, and it has certainly become an odd spectacle. It's about twice the size of the other and is very wiggly. You can see it jiggle around in the water where the other one does not...it's quite odd.

Now, then onto the furry ones!

Catillac was being very vocal this afternoon...VERY vocal. I'd swear she was in heat if I didn't know better.

She flopped all over the place...she loves to have her picture taken. (Notice her back leg's position...)

Of course, I cannot snap a set of pictures of her without that tongue of her's!

...here, you can see Chica approaching in the background. Catillac takes notice.

As I'm taking pictures of Chica, I feel something dreadful on my foot! Of course, the beast has struck again!

I've said it before, and I'm gonna say it again ... Catillac is the whitest indoor/outdoor kitty I've ever seen!

Those aren't fish - they're giants! I've never seen goldfish so big unless they've been in outdoor ponds!

Have you ever watched South Park? Do you remember the episode with the "killer goldfish"? That's what I'm thinking of looking at your "killers". :)

They are big fish...had them...well, I'd say at least 2 years. So big I need a bigger tank, but no where for it to go. (I've not seen South Park enough to know anything about it...) ...we also have a Jeffrey Dahmer, but he's sort of a recluse.

Wow that last one is some huge goldfish? You did say they were all goldfish, right? I feel so sorry for Liz having her fins eaten off, but she is looking much better now. Thank goodness you got her a separate tank.

Well, all I can say is you've got to see the size of Tiff's hands to understand the size of those fish! For a little, petite gal, she's got the longest fingers of anybody I know!

You should post a picture of your hand next to a ruler, Tiffers!

Here's the size of my hand, with a splash of Chica hair...if I have my hand in the air and not pressing on the ground, my middle finger is just above the 7 inch mark.

Jack the Ripper is sooo huge! Cute but a bit frightening. He must be love eating feeds. ;)
