...a few days after surgery, my mom and I had David and Charles drop us off at the Doggie Bakery just up the road. I bought Chica some 'gourmet' cookies. Bit pricey...but, oh well.

My first batch of cookies that I made from complete scratch! Snickerdoodles...everyone liked them, and I'm superproud of them...obviously. :D

She would get in a bed, go to another. Get on the couch, go to the bed. ...she was nonstop for about 20 minutes until she finally decided to eat it.

I'm so weird, I never eat my own cookies. I love to bake cookies...I just don't like to eat them. Everyone else seemed to love them, though. :D

I love watching little kitties get all full of their food. It's so funny to watch them because they act like 1) they never ate before, and 2) they aren't going to get enough. They always get soo messy, it's cute.

Chica is the coolest looking little dog...

As for milking the dog... I had to do that when I was young. Our dog had a hysterical pregnancy (we adopted her when she was about a year old) and was lactating. My dad told me that we had to milk her so she didn't get sick. I was maybe 8? 9? Not real old. She was spayed once her symptoms resolved a bit.

...Snickerdoodles are like sugar cookies covered in cinnamon and sugar. Usually, I make everything from a premade roll...and they always burn and are funny shapes. Well, these were from complete scratch...they didn't burn and were perfect circles. :D I was so proud.

You're Snickerdoodles look perfect. I make oodles of them around Christmas for my dad, he loves them. The next good recipie for you to try is for Ginger Snaps, they're as fun to make as the Snickerdoodles.

You're dog is so wonderful, letting those needle sharp claws and teeths kneed on her belly. I love it when they crawl into their food bowl and end up wearing more food than they ate.

...I've got about 4 or 5 cookie cook books that I'm going to try and make and if I like them, make my own recipe book/box with the successful cookies in it.

Chica is very patient and protective with all the babies, I know she's going to be excited when I go back to work and show them to her again. :p

...we ended up changing their food to something thicker, and it seemed to not make as big of a mess at first...but it didn't take them long to figure out how to shake the food off their paws and get it on the walls of the cage!

Oh sheeesh! I think my brain's been fried...it's been over 110 degrees here today...106 yesterday. The air conditioner at work froze over and stopped working this afternoon...
