Kitty with Mouth Tumors

Does anyone have a cat with mouth tumors and infections in the mouth? My cat has eosinophilic granulomas and she is doing better right now.

I think it's because she had a depomedrol (steroid) injection. She has been on oral prednisolone, but I believe she was not absorbing it because the injections work better. She is also taking interferon.

Oh my gosh, I have just read up on this condition! How did you discover your cat had this? I mean what were her initial symptoms etc? Was she diagnosed right away?

There have been other posts recently about cats with sores around their face, neck, etc, though I see by these links it can also show up in the groin area and feet. this might be something for those other posters to look into.
