Well, I thought I would do some random pics this evening. First is Kaylee:

Mahina is the one who came to you with her ears damaged? It is an awfully even line, but it's hard to imaginethat if tht had been doneto he by a human that she would ever trust one again.:( Pretty girl even with her ears.
Kaylee looks like a sweetheart, the kind that lets kittens attack her tail then wags it for them again.

Our rescue's vet is sure they were removed surgically, most likely due to skin cancer. She has dark spots between her ears and eyes, pretty sure it's sun damage. She goes in Monday for a dental cleaning and will have 2 teeth removed. Funny what you said about Kaylee, the kittens I have right now just love her. One in particular runs up to her and purrs as soon as she enters the kitten room, but she gets a little rough (not on purpose) so I have to keep an eye on her.

Thank you! Pumpkin is a persian mix, aka kitty mutt. He's my biggest cat.

Is it the lighting, or does Kaylee look lighter than usual? She almost looks white in the first picture!

One of my favorite thing about Pumpkin is that his whiskers curl inwards, it's so neat looking. Hides the evil underneath. :p On Kaylee's picture it's the lighting making her look that light, she's actually toned down to a really nice dark buff coloration and she's getting more black on her ears and feet.
