I shouldn't have, but I did. I got another rat, a gray and white rex female. She's 8 weeks old and very sweet. Now all I have to do is come up with a name for her. It's getting harder and harder to find names I like and haven't used already. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
How about "Pina" or "Luga".

I always find names just come naturally when given enough time. Often our pets have several names. I'll think of a name in the beginning and then by the time we get to know them, we wind up calling them something else.

wow the pic gallery has excellent pics. Never thought rats could look so cute. Mention the word rat in Singapore and you're standing in a chasm one mile wide. I don't think anybody keeps pet rats over here. No one probably thinks they're nice anyway, and you can't find them in any pet shop. One species, two characters.

And that's such a pity, ppl in Singapore totally think rats are like vernons. I am so indignant! Actually, if you look closely, RATS ARE THE CUTEST THINGS!!!!!!!!!!

I finallly gave up and asked my 20 year old son if he had any suggestions for names for my new rat. He took the rat into his bedroom to spend some time with her and about an hour later, he told me her name is Dolores. When I asked him where that came from, he said she looks like a Dolores. That's very strange. Obviously, he takes after his dad.
