Brownie kinda looks like a field mouse right now. :) Cute babies. How big do full grown rats get? I've had hamsters on and off since I was a kid and have thought about getting a rat but there's still that bit of phobia there.

Lol i notice that last night.
She was hopping like a deer all around.
With her ears up all funny.
Yet they came from the same litter hmmm.
It depends on if its a male or female when it comes to size.
Males are much larger than females. Males are more calm also.
If you get a rat go off craigslist or something of that nature.
Ask if they were handled as babies. Eh hamsters lol.
They bite more than rats. My old rat blue was a big, um i think he was over a pound ill post a pic of him and his bigness for you. I prefer rats better than a dog or cat, their cleaner. They snuggle and give kisses. And really silly when they play rocket rat.
I would recomend going to a pet shop and just holding one to get over your phobia it works.
i was affraid of rats and only had mice.
once i held one i gave up my mice for rats.
Now i have 4....

Thanx. Her face is so funky looking. Its longer than a reg rat. thanks for noticing that i wouldnt have guessed thats what kind she was. The boys got better, but the girls had small resp infection. It travels through air so they boys are sneezing again. Tomorrow i have to call in another prescription for the boys. Ill use it for all of them. The meds didnt work untill a week and a half after starting it. LIke they said it gets worse before it gets better. I think they will be ok.

Oh my, the girls are cute. I have to say, I have had boys and girls. Boys are my favorite. They are so cuddly. All of my girls have been very busy. Never sat still long enough to cuddle. My biggest guy was two pounds. He was my cuddliest. I just have two boys now. A hairless and a black hoodie. They are great cuddlers now. Enjoy your girls.
