Fish Pregnant Or Tumor???

I have a gold fish that I recently noticed has a lump on its side towards its gill. I also noticed today that the fish is rather large in its belly area... Can anyone tell me if my fish is pregnant and thats what is causing the lump?

the lump is probably NOT a tumor, nor a pregnancy (althouhg the large belly COULD be cause of pregnancy)

and lump on (or around) the gills gills could be caused by some type of infection, parasite, or bad water condition. If you have a water test kit, test your water, if not, take a sample of the water to a local fish store and ask them to test it.

My guess is you have bad water quality that is causing some type of irritation to the gills or scales.
