Apparently, this recipe has been very successful in converting seed eaters to eat pellets. :)

1 package cornbread mix (one that is low in sugar)
2 eggs, shells included
1/2 cup seed mix
1/2 cup pellets
1 cup mixed vegetables

Mix cornbread mix as per package instructions. Add eggs, seed mix, pellets and mixed vegetables. Bake @ 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.

(As the bird gets used to eating pellets from this cornbread, lessen seed mix and add more pellets).

Amanda,
Angel is now eating pellets and no seed at all. I accidentally picked up the "fine" variety and she doesn't seem interested in them. This will be a great way to use them up and waste them as they were $34 dollars for a large bag.

Diane, it's great to hear that Angel is eating pellets now. I hope she will like this recipe ... Bijou & Rio really like this recipe and it's so easy to make. :)

Or you could just try a new one each month. LOL You don't have to try them all at once.
