Hi, can anyone recommend a brush for a really short smooth coat. My weimaraner would be greatful, thanks:)

This thing RAWKS. I have a German Short hair and I use the furminator on him. Its spendy but well worth it. I got mine at [url]/url]. There is a whole section of the site that talks about their product.

Costco online also carries the furminator. My dog looks 20 lb. lighter after I go over him. I took it over to the neighbor's golden retriever the other day and brushed his pants in the yard -- the birds had a field day with all the loose fur I brushed out!

I personally own a furminator for my semi "long" hair cat and would not use it on a short hair breed like yours. I have American Pit Bull Terriers and use a rubber curry brush and or a zoom groom.
Both are cheap, easy to use, work great and also help the coat shine and keep dirt off.
