Whining **** SU

Hi, I have an 11 month old puppy (**** Su) that whines all the time. Sometimes we know what she wants (Special time of the day for a special treat) and once we give it to her she will stop whining for a while. But lots of time we do not know what she wants. We try to make her stop but we do not know how. Also, she has been housetrained for quite a while now, I would say 5-6 months, and she rarely has any "accidents", but my question is this: why does she asks for the door even when she doesn't need to go? She asks the door 5-6 times and she will do business only 1-2 times.

What's her exercise regimen like? It's possible she's telling you that she wants to go outside for a walk or a run. My dog often goes and whines by the door, and it usually means he wants to go out and have some fun. Maybe she is just bored.
