So i walk into this bird shop with the guy i'm seeing and we were so confused (first time for us both). The birds all had their stations but were not caged so people can just touch them. Pretty awesome...until one bird took a heavy liking to me and when I tried to shake it's hand it climbed on top of me....After about 10 minutes a store clerk had to come help take him off of me lol but he didn't leave willingly as he nibbled on me a bit as he was pulled off....not hard at all, but I can tell he wanted to come home with me....too bad I do no have $12,000 and he was already sold.

You're braver than I am. A bird using me as a perch would not be my favorite situation. Pretty bird though.

You certainly are braver than I am! I was terrified of my Finch! He is a beautiful bird though.

I love being a parrot perch! :p You look good with that bird on you. ;)
At 12,000.00 though, I guess I'd only be window shopping too.
Hyacinth's are gentle giants usually. I did get to babysit one for a week, gentle as they're rumored to be, this one had me bluffed, I never even tried once to pet him. They have humongous beaks, with a strength to match!

yeah that beak sure is HUGE....and that last picture where it looks like i'm trying to put him in my sweater or something....that was me trying to get him out of my sleeve, he kept pulling it with his beak and then would start licking and nibbling on my arm, maybe he could taste my lotion or something.
