Raisnig them from babies, how wondeful! I miss having birds but its best that I don't with 8 cats in the house. :D

What a lovely African Grey. Is he one that you had hatch from the parent or one you are raising by yourself. He looks great so far!!! I have a Timneh African grey who is 13 but I got him when he was 9. Is yours a Congo Grey? What is the other bird you are holding?

what BEAUTIFUL BIRDS.. i hand raised our african grey that i had as a child. He was a cool bird.. he was actually missing his ENTIRE feet because the mother tried to eat them off.. all he had was nubs but he was completely able to climb up and down the bars of his cage and sleep on the perch. He was an AMAZING bird.. my parents made me give him up to abetter home because i started college and was working full time and my parents also did not have the time for him.. he now lives with a retired lady who loves every minute of being with him.. we still keep in touch, and now that i am an adult and have my own place, she knows that if she ever needs to give him up, he has a home back here with me.
I LOVE those birds soo much.. thanks for sharing your pictures.
