What are some good toy choices?

I'm planning on going out there tonight and I was going to stop by the store and pick up some things to take with me before I head out. I have a petsmart on my way so I was wondering what some good things to get were.

Basically, is there any brand or thing I should avoid? I'm planning on looking for made in USA because of the lead paint thing but is there anything else I wouldn't think to avoid that I should?

I know they all love those pinata things and I already have some jingly cat balls to take with me. . . just not sure what else I should get.

Avoid the toy that has a pinata that is wearing a sombrero. It is my understanding that birds have actually gotten caught in them, and "Strangled."
