As I was waking up this morning I heard bits and pieces of this story unfold on the radio.
Somewhere a man took in all kinds of animals but was particularly giftted in taming wild squirrels so the neighbors didn't mind him being there, but I guess his property needed to be condemened cuz it wasn't safe or something like this so his neighbors got together and found an RV they were going to purchase for $500.00 for him.
but when the RV owner met the guy, rather than charge his $500.00 he sold his RV to the Squirrel man for a penny so the man was able to purchase his own house, but now he needs a permanent place to park his RV.
I thought this was an awsome story. RV's are expensive and I suppose selling the RV for a penny was a tough call, but I commend the guy for doing it.
The world needs more animals lovers around, and those that have the capcity and heart big enough to love and befriend the wild animals that need us sometimes as well.
More than ever: we all need to love life, and respect natural wildlife.
but would you refuse to help a wild creature if it bravely came to you for help?
I don't think I could. I know for a fact I would help that animal any way that I possibly could.
