Hello,
My 7 month puppy (French Bulldog) was diagnosed with a serious spinal nerve disorder (meningomyelocele) and underwent corrective surgery to prevent paralysis.
The surgery was successful and my dog is able to walk normally; however, there is some irreversible damage to his spinal cord which results in fecal and urinary incontinence. the urinary incontinence can be improved with medication; however, I am trying to find any help I can on possible solutions for his fecal incontinence.
I am told that certain surgical procedures can help?
Or medication?
My vet and I are working on this together to try and find the best solution. Given that I love this dog, and expect to spend a long while together, I REALLY need to find a solution to this problem.

Any help, suggestions, advice, or simple sharing would be MUCH APPRECIATED.

Thank you,
Nihal
