She was playing nicely with Paige and Piper until she got too close to Cookie. Cookie growled and snapped at her, and when Cheyenne ran off screaming, Cookie went after her! I guess Cookie's nose is a little out of joint, feeling jealous of all the babies and the attention they are getting. It will take a bit of work, but I think everybody will be okay by next week.

Yeah, she weighs about 6 pounds, it's so funny to see how she reacts to the other two pups. They are older than her, and can't seem to figure out why she won't play as rough as they do!

She is beautiful! I didn't know you were in the market for a lab. Yes, please share why you have her so young?

The people were not wanting to breed their dogs, and didn't know she'd gone into her first heat until they found them tied up one day. They don't really know anything about puppies, they'd separated the mom and pups on Monday and had already been feeding the pups. I thought they'd call me next weekend, but they said they were ready to start giving them away yesterday, so I went ahead and picked her up. Getting her to the vet for her first check up and shots today, hopefully. She seems to be ok, a little nervous, especially after Cookie beat her up yesterday, but she's trying to play with Paige and Piper, and slept through the night better than the older two babies did.

Thanks guys! She's a really good pup, of course she's still nervous about the change in her life, but I think she's gonna be a great companion for Paige, they already play a little with each other. Cookie isn't too fond of her, but that's because she's taking my attention away.

Tiffers has already fussed at me, she thinks I've lost my mind! Just wait till she gets to meet Cheyenne this afternoon!

Yes, we still have both Piper and Paige. We're still working on finding Piper a new home, though.

Well she is adorable...I figured she was yours by the "C" name :)

OK, first vet visit this afternoon, she weighed in at 7 LBS! Badly worm infested, but we figured on that. Other than that, she's fine. Everybody at the vet office had to hold her and carry her around for a bit. Good thing Cookie and Cash had Tiffers and Chica to play with.

Well, David has been wanting a big dog for the yard for about a year now. So, I've been keeping my eye out, and when I heard about this litter being given away, we jumped on it.

Today Cookie has decided that Cheyenne is a new playmate, so she's busy stepping on her and knocking her over! It's like a three ring circus today, 5 dogs playing in the house.

David is fixing a stretch of fence along the back, so I have to keep the dogs in until they seal the fence back up.

Well, I guess we could count as Full House, there are more girls than boys here. (I think David and Cash are the only two boys here) LOL
